The first blind patient
This is an extract from an article in the weekly magazine "Se & Hør" about our first completely blind patient:
Finally, Kirsten could SEE her grandchild
In the year 1981, Kirsten (77) was stricken by a cerebral thrombosis. On top of that, she had two cerebral haemorrhages. The viral nerve was damaged, and the old woman became completely blind. Salvation came last november. A good friend radiant with joy came to visit: "I have been cured of my eye disease by an acupuncturist in Aulum, and I have booked a time for you, Kirsten".
After a few treatments, her sight suddenly started to come back. Since then, it has steadily improved, and when SE & HØR attended a treatment at the acupuncturists, Kirsten could see a fly flying around under the ceiling.
If is sometimes hurt a bit, Kirsten takes it with a smile and a cheerfull comment. What is a bit of pain, when she has regained her sight?
